1) Make a schedule plan of all your assignments and keep it up to date!
If you use some sort of schedule planner, whether it be on paper or a digital program, you are more likely to stay organized and never miss an assignment. This is a key to succeeding in online courses especially, because you may not always have someone reminding you that a due date is approaching the way you would in an in lecture setting
2) Do not be afraid to contact your instructor!
Being in an online class may be intimidating and cause you to feel isolated, not knowing where to go for help since you will not regularly see your instructor in class. However, online instructors will often make themselves just as available to you as any other instructor would. Check the syllabus to find their email and do not hesitate to reach out to them! A lot of times online instructors will still provide you with an office location on campus where you can find them if you prefer a face to face meeting.
3) Even though you are in an online course, working together with your classmates is still possible and very beneficial!
Having a study buddy is always helpful, and it may seem like you are left to do all of your work alone in online classes. However there are plenty of ways to incorporate group work into online courses. You may be provided with a list of student emails of all the individuals registered in the course, or maybe there is a discussion board where you can communicate with one another. Whatever it may be, there is surely a way to contact classmates and work as a group in your online class. Doing this will most likely provide you with success in the course and help you achieve that grade that you want.
