2022 Census of Agriculture Data Now Available

USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) released the 2022 Census of Agriculture data on February 13, 2024 and will release several associated data products throughout the year at www.nass.usda.gov/AgCensus.

The Census of Agriculture Provides the only source of comprehensive agricultural data for every state and county in the nation. These data will be used by offices like FSA and University Extension, as well as decisionmakers, agribusinesses, researchers, and many others.

The Census of Agriculture, taken only once every five years, looks at land use and ownership, operator characteristics, production practices, income and expenditures. For America’s farmers and ranchers, the Census of Agriculture is their voice, their future, and their opportunity.
