About Me

ShanghaiThe first 18 years of my life were spent     in a relatively small community. The  friends I played tag with when I was 10 were the same ones I ate lunch with 7 years later. Growing up in a tight-knit community, although barren of many of the opportunities found in larger ones, offered me the enriching environment I required as I cultivated the thoughts and peculiarities which define me today. Now, on the eves of entirely new opportunities, I put those idyllic days behind me in search of professional and personal fulfillment.

Being raised in the spirit of liberal arts, an eclectic breath of academic and physical interests captivate me. Both literature and science fill me with interest, just as history and the Spanish language do as well. In the next 4 years of my life, my goals primarily consist of refining these sometimes conflicting interests into a coherent set of professional skills. Whether that entails refocusing my  passions or broadening my potential career choices is irrelevant. It is only relevant that I partake in some means to an end. It is this means, the process of learning, maturing, and growing, that will provide the framework not just for these formative years of my life, but for the rest of it as well.
