We are looking to improve our psychological treatments for LGBTQ+ folks with suicide risk. We hope that the results of this research will allow us to reduce suicide risk for LGBTQ+ folks and provide treatment to people who are unable to attend in-person therapy sessions.
Your participation in this study is confidential.
The study entails:
- Participating in approximately 12 weekly one-on-one sessions of psychological (non-medication) therapy
- Completing a series of questionnaires and interviews to track your progress and give us feedback about our program
- Participating in a 60–90-minute semi-structured interview
- Completing self-report assessments
To be eligible, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Reside in a PsyPact State
- Have had thoughts of suicide within the past week or have attempted suicide within the past month
- Identify as LGBTQ+
- Own an Internet-connected device with a webcam
