The 23rd annual OSU Community Commitment Day! Over 1,000 scholars visited 50 sites and agencies for a day of service. Served as a Head Site Leader for an incredible team of undergraduate Rotary leaders and future biologists and psychologists. We packed 250 diaper kits and wipes for Star House Columbus and picked up 9 buckets of litter with Rick, Molly, and Jason from Friends of Goodale Park. #payitforwardosu #giveback#parksbuildcommunity
First day jitters and excitement, no matter the age!
When treasured friends took me to a local Columbus, OH bakery to celebrate my acceptance into graduate school, the owner freely shared her enthusiasm with me. “What are you going to study?” she inquired with a huge and hopeful smile. “Social Work!” I replied proudly.
“Social Work?!” You’re never going to make any money.”
