Reaching Our Final Product:

I was a member of the College Closet group.  The basis and problem solved of our business was to give college students and those with low levels of storage a way to have off-campus storage access made easy.  We made a complete 180 pivot from our original idea.  Our original idea consisted of a way to not have to give certain information after contacting people through online dating created by our group member Justice.  We then discovered that this idea had already been created and was an app called GhostBot.  I came up with the original idea for College Closet when I had the personal problem of being unsure where to store my personal ski gear while living in the dorm.  I then realized that not only I must have this problem.  When I brought the idea to my group they pointed out that there is no real reason that it had to just be sports equipment and that we could store all types of things for students.  This evolved into our final product consisting of a website/app that would be able to communicate with the business and be able to complete our key activities of delivery, pick-up, and safe storage.

About Me

img_1607

I am from Mason, Ohio and graduated from William Mason High School in 2016.  I am a Fisher Direct student at the Ohio State University.  I’m a first year accounting major and am thinking about adding an entrepreneurship minor.  At Ohio State, I’m involved in the Accounting Association and the Business Builders Club.  Experiential and hands-on learning have always been my pathway to learning best.  My hobbies include skiing, basketball, and spending time with my friends.  I am also an Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship scholar.  I chose this scholars program because I was raised in a very business-entrepreneurial family and have always loved the idea of taking charge and improving the world through problem solving.  I hope to graduate with a Bachelors degree in accounting and eventually an MBA, here or at another strong graduate school.
