Isabella Richardson is a first-year mechanical engineering student apart of the STEM Exploration and Engagement Scholars program. As a first-year at the Ohio State University, Isabella has a few goals for the next few years. She wishes to participate in undergraduate research particularly in physics, biology, or technology. She is planning on getting a minor in the biological sciences.
When not in the classroom, Isabella loves to build things. Some of her favorite projects include a wooden toy truck, a model arc reactor, and a coffee table.
One of her creative outlets has been through music. She has been playing drum set for eight years and has found joy in making music with others. Isabella hopes to find a way to continue this in college.
Lastly, she loves hiking. One of her personal goals is to not only visit every national park in the United States, but to also hike in it. Some of her favorites so far are Acadia, Zion, and the Great Smoky Mountains.
