G.O.A.L.S.

The University Honors & Scholars Center at The Ohio State University serves high-ability, motivated undergraduate students. The Center facilitates impactful, rigorous, and unique opportunities that further student success and involvement in our G.O.A.L.S.: Global Awareness, Original Inquiry, Academic Enrichment, Leadership Development, and Service Engagement.

Academic Enrichment: For the summer of 2016, I have been looking into getting an internship at the law office my half-sister works at. In addition to this, I have been looking at paralegal work at the many law offices located in downtown Chicago. Even if a paid opportunity does not arise, this summer I want to obtain the experience of the flow of a law office to get a better understanding of the career I plan to have. Also, the addition of a hard science minor will add a factor many others in the field do not have a strong background in.

Global Awareness: I plan to research overseas internship opportunities this summer so I can apply for them in the upcoming year. This will give me a background that go further than the political customs of the United States. Also, I plan to attend more college republicans and latino student association meeting in my next term.
