About Me

Hello, my name is Abbey Reimer! I am a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences on track to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy. I am originally from Sylvania, Ohio where I graduated from St. Ursula Academy as one of three students to complete the AP Capstone program.

Aside from academics, I love to read, spend time outdoors, and drink coffee. As an avid reader, I enjoy reading several different genres but my favorite would have to be historical fiction. Spending time outdoors is how I prefer to connect with family and friends whether it be camping, biking, kayaking, or hiking. Beach volleyball is also a favorite of mine! As for coffee, I love checking out local coffee shops and trying new methods of making coffee. Currently, I am perfecting my homemade cold brew techniques.

At The Ohio State University, I am a member of the Honors and Scholars Program, which has allowed me to partake in stimulating courses and connect with unique individuals from several different majors. Specific to my pharmacy major, I am a member of the Early Assurance Program (EAP) and previous member of the Pharmacy House LLC. Currently, I am working with several students and faculty in creating a multi-school pharmacy conference in the hopes of providing students with several educational resources regarding pharmacy education and potential career pathways.

I hope to graduate pharmacy school and go on to specialize in an aspect of pharmacy that I am passionate about. Ultimately, I hope to work in a clinical setting where I am able to directly help and connect with patients in a way that allows me to apply my academic experience but also expand my knowledge of the field each day.
