About Me

Hello! My name is Madison Reidl, and I am a Biomedical Engineering major at The Ohio State University. I come from Canton, Ohio, and I have dreamt of attending this university since I was a child. In high school, I was a member of student council, on leadership for NHS, and was the recipient of multiple scholarships, including awards from the Rumberger Scholarship Foundation and the Stark Community Foundation. I also played volleyball, was a part of our school’s theater department, and was a member of the Math Team.

At the university, I am the Outreach Coordinator for the Biomedical Engineering Society, I am a Choose Ohio First Scholar, and I graduated from the Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars as the volunteer coordinator within the University’s Honors and Scholars Center. I received the J. Michael Dunn Distinguished Sport and Wellness Scholar Award for my efforts contributed to the Wellness Scholars. Both the Choose Ohio First and Dunn Sport and Wellness programs have provided me with immense professional development skills, while ensuring I balance my academics with community service, overall wellness, and real-world experiences.

This ePortfolio includes a diverse set of experiences that have provided me with leadership and professional skills. Through my involvement, I hope to capture the work that I have done to become a well-rounded individual so that I may obtain further engineering employment and development opportunities. My determination to succeed and dedication to my work make me an asset to any employer, and a natural leader in any group I am a part of.
