Honors & Scholars students understand the research process by engaging in experiences ranging from in-class scholarly endeavors to creative inquiry projects to independent experiences with top researchers across campus and in the global community. For example, consider research, creative productions or performances, advanced course work, etc.
In Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars, this looks like:
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities and begin to build a professional network within the fields of sport and wellness
- Engage in experiences that cultivate a lifestyle dedicated to wellness
In addition to encouraging our academic pursuits, our weekly meetings often include speakers in the industries we are pursuing. They provide us with stories of their experience, along with opportunities to work alongside them.
