AroundCampus there are trash compactor and recycling combinations such as these to the left.
They are solar powered and are used in high traffic areas such as St.Johns arena and the Shoe.
These are the 55 gallon drums that are used at the football stadium for recycling and compost. Notice how there are differences between the two even though they are both recycling.
This is another picture of the drum. They use these at track events too. The ones at the track and field were just white and had to find recycling.
Waste bin outside of Scott Labs
Walking outside of campus, you will often find waste bins such as this one. It doesn’t have any special label or message on it. I will often find these bins filled with a mix of different waste products.
Dumpster recycling contents allowed
Around north campus many of the garbage dumpsters have these labels on them which state what contents are allowed to be placed in them. Of the ones I found with the labels, they were also painted red (or pinkish red).

Many of the campus dumpsters were placed on team of these beams. Perhaps they provide some support while also preventing the units from sliding or marking the ground.
Waste bins outside of Fontana Labs
These waste bins outside of Fontana Labs are completely full and overflowing. Fortunately, the garbage is all contained within plastic bags which prevents individual garbage from getting away. Perhaps something can be done to help this out.

The custodians in Caldwell Labs use these bins for collecting garbage around the campus.
