Business Model Canvas from ICE Scholars

4th BMC

This project was a collaborative business venture between six students from a Scholars survey course. The idea was to take some kind of value proposition, which for us was raw cookie dough that is rolled into sushi with various additions inside, and lay it out onto a business model canvas. There were many pivots resulting from excess costs and customer preferences determined by a series of surveys, but it ultimately culminated in a cart that would serve raw cookie dough mixed with protein at a location between Thompson Library and the RPAC. This journey was informative about the nature of how businesses change and flow over time to appease the customer and maximize profits in a low key format.

About Me

Profile PictureMy name is Evan Ramer and I am majoring in Computer Science and Engineering at Ohio State. I come from the small town of Wadsworth, OH (near the Akron area) where I graduated first in my class. During my time there I participated in our schools math club and National Honor Society as well as running the lights for all of our school productions and events. I came to Ohio State with the intention of learning how to be a quality programmer so that I can help create something groundbreaking, which is why I got involved in ICE Scholars. Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Scholars is an incredible program that facilitates one’s ability to bring their ideas into a marketable reality by teaching you how to develop your product and get people’s attention. I intend to pick up an Entrepreneurship and Innovation minor in order to fuel my future professional goals to engage in a variety of startups as a developer and get them off the ground running.
