Quantum Boot Camp III
With the continuing generous support of the Carnegie Corporation and the Mershon Center, we are pleased to announce the third annual, online quantum boot camp for social scientists. QBC III is free of charge and will be held from July 17-21, 2023, using the same format as its predecessors, with morning presentations and afternoon tutorials. This year, in addition to repeating last year’s successful tutorial on quantum math and game theory, we are adding a second on qualitative quantum methods, drawing on Karen Barad’s work in particular.
Our speakers this year will include Harald Atmanspacher, Peter Bruza, Emmanuel Pothos, Natasha Mauthner, Chengxin Pan, Kathryn Schaffer, Dominic Widdows and more.

New Investigator Awards for Best Paper in Quantum Social Science
In the meantime, in the hopes of encouraging new entrants into the field, in 2023 we are offering for the first time two “Best Paper” awards of $1000 each, one for a quantitative paper in quantum social science, and the other for a qualitative paper. Please click here for more details…!
