The QualLab is located in 339-341 Ramseyer Hall.
For spring ’23, we will have staff in the office during the following times:
- Mondays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are a small research methodology center without full time staff, so Monday-Thursday (10:00 AM-3:00 PM) are the days/times when you can count on us being open if you want to use the library or visit us in person. We are closed for national holidays & student breaks. If you need assistance outside of the open hours, please email quallab@osu.edu
All events and consultations are virtual.
Contact us at QualLab@osu.edu or on Twitter: @QualLabOSU.
Want to get involved? See our “Get Involved” page here.
Please visit our space or contact us to reserve recorders, review our library of qualitative research texts, or reserve space to conduct your own EHE qual work!
Land Acknowledgement
We support the Land Acknowledgement developed by The Ohio State University Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Find the full statement here. We, the QualLab, acknowledge central Ohio as the traditional homeland of the Shawnee Nation, Miami, Wyandotte and other Indigenous nations who have strong ties to these lands. Today, individuals from a broad range of Indigenous backgrounds call Columbus and central Ohio home. There is a long history of violent and harmful research “on” Indigenous communities and, while some of this continues today, QualLab is dedicated to educating scholars on working “with” Indigenous communities, if invited. We are committed to go beyond “do no harm.”
