Emergency Funds

  • Students in need of emergency aid can consult the Student Advocacy Center, who work with the Office of Student Financial Aid the Student Emergency Fund (of which resources are available to graduate students). A faculty member can also write on your behalf to request emergency funds via EHE. Talk with your faculty advisor if you’re interested in this.
  • If you have experienced a financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible to apply for a Together as Buckeyes emergency grant. Students are encouraged to contact BuckeyeLink before submitting the grant application for guidance on submitting a successful application.   • The ACES food pantry in the PAES A100 suite is available to all Ohio State students. Students can stop by and take five items and a personal hygiene kit Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • As an OSU student, you may also access the Buckeye Food Alliance pantry, which is currently operating via online ordering.
  • For professional development funding, including travel for conference presentations, visit the Council of Graduate Students.
  • The Office of Research, Innovation, and Collaboration (ORIC) also offers a matching travel grant program here.
  • The Department of Educational Studies also supports students who are presenting research at professional conferences; learn more here.
