This implies being able to understand any logic or reasoning behind decisions clearly and being able to leave the website with a thorough understanding of all the information.
Value Proposition:
The primary end goal is an overall improvement in the health of students. However, there are many other benefits that come with the improvement of the students health. Primarily, the improvement in eating habits leads to increased attention span and focus in courses, which can lead to overall improved grades and success academically. Healthier eating habits also improve energy levels and overall mood throughout the day. Lastly, healthier eating habits lower levels of obesity in college students which leads to decreased chances of heart disease and Type II diabetes.
Users:
The users would be someone who is involved with the process of delivering food to students. Whether it be the student serving themselves at a dining hall, a paid worker serving the students, or the people who design the menu for campus restaurants.
The population of the initial end user is just the students and food services here at OSU, but a potential solution may very well be extended to use in other universities or high schools. If a system is put in place to better the food here, it is likely that other universities with many people to feed may also attempt using the same product. It is in their best interest as well, because if their food service is better, it may increase interest in their institution.
