Starting with line and moving to value

I thought this was very difficult. My drawing turned out looking a little bit like an alien but I tried my best. I enjoyed doing the hair and thought that was the easiest part. It was fun to use so different materials to add depth and texture. The hardest part was definitely the eyes. It was hard to add detail and emotion in them. I also made them a little too far up my face and think if they were moved down it would look a little better. I also didn’t know where to shade on my face and want to learn how to add structure.
