The efficacy of administrative simplification as an intervention to increase Medicaid enrollment is difficult to measure as its implementation coincides with numerous other initiatives to increase enrollment. However, certain states have attributed over 10% enrollment increases to the Fast Track program within 1 month of its implementation.
States that have implemented on-line enrollment processes and processes that do not require up-front proof of citizenship have seen increased enrollment as well.
