SCI Learning Community
The majority of our team has been attending a learning community within southeastern correctional facility in Lancaster, Ohio. Initially, we took a course through OPEEP and taught by Dr. Amy Shuster called The Philosophy of Happiness. Afterward, we participated in a learning community, engaging with incarcerated community through discussions regarding profound philosophical questions. It has been in incredibly inspiring experience for all parties involved, and suggestions made by the incarcerated community inspired the members of Project PEER to create the scholarship database.
