This Professional Development Hub is designed to offer library faculty and staff in The Ohio State University Libraries a central clearinghouse and repository for resources for professional learning in all of the strategic focus areas of the Libraries’ research, education, and outreach and engagement endeavors. Resources are defined broadly, to include foundational readings; blogs, videos and podcasts; links to webinars, conferences, institutes, and professional associations; pointers to tools and software; and reports on emerging issues in the field. Through the blogging feature, this Hub also offers the opportunity for colleagues to share their professional learning experiences–reports on noteworthy institutes and workshops attended, suggestions about upcoming events to attend, locally, regionally, or nationally, and reflections on professional learning that may interest colleagues. The Hub should be a community resource and “crossroad” for sharing resources and experiences of mutual benefit for all.
