About Me

Hello,

My name is Seth Primmer and if you’re reading this I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read and explore my e-portfolio. This first post is just going to be a simple introduction of myself.

I was born and raised in the small town of Logan, Ohio. Although Logan is a rural Ohio town, it is very scenic. It is located in the southeast quadrant of the state situated near Hocking Hills State Park. I mention all of this because  the area is a huge part of my personality and has fostered a love for nature and the outdoors inside of me. Another aspect of my life that has created a passion for the outdoors is the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). I have been involved in scouting as long as I can remember and I became an Eagle Scout in October of 2016. Through BSA I had the opportunity to partake in countless community service projects. Athletics were also important to me as a child and adolescent. I’ve played soccer for over ten years and have recently taken a liking to tennis. In fact, I’m still a diehard Columbus Crew SC fan.

My passion for the environment, combined with my service experience has inspired me to pursue a major in Environmental Engineering at The Ohio State University and also to join the Green Engineering Scholars community. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career working with renewable energy, or sustainability.
