Bat Week!

October 24-31 is officially National Bat Week. Last year, Ohio government also officially recognized the week.  Bat week is an annual, international celebration of the role of bats in nature with the goal of raising awareness about the need for bat conservation.

In light of 2020 Bat Week, the Ohio Bat Working Group (OBWG) has launched a new website including information for landowners, land managers, homeowners, and educators on Ohio bats. In addition, the OBWG has put together a Bat Week Video Series on a variety of topics – bat habitat, Ohio species, threats the Ohio bats, how to help bats, and what to do if you find a bat (single bat or colony).

With your feedback to a short survey, Ohio 4-H intends to use your thoughts and ideas in offering more teen-specific programs that can be accessed virtually!

Please visit the link below and respond to the survey questions by October 16 to have your feedback shared! If you received this survey from another source, you are only asked to complete it once. Thank you in advance for taking a few moments to complete this survey!
