Notes: The specific epithet paniculata refers to the arrangement of the flowers in panicles. In full bloom, the weight of the flower panicles will typically cause the branches to arch downward.

Identification notes:  Look at the large pointed leaves, and cone shaped flowering structures.  The flowers will turn a copper color in winter and generally stay on the plant through the winter, or until pruned.
