Barbara Piperata: US Fulbright Scholar 2015
I was recently awarded a Fulbright Grant to Brazil for my research project “Tracking the Nutrition Transition in Amazonia: A Longitudinal and Comparative Approach”. I will spend September – December, 2015 in Brazil where I will teach courses in Nutritional Anthropology at the Universidade de Sao Paulo and the Universidade Federal do Para and conduct research on diet and health in rural Amazonian communities with my colleagues and students from both universities.
