The Triplehorn Insect Collection has undergone major updates in the past 15 years, including the re-organization of our vast primary type collection and the digitization of our specimens of bees, ants, and wasps (order Hymenoptera). In 2010, after the installation of a compactor system and the increase of storage capacity, the re-organization of our beetles (order Coleoptera) was initiated. We also established new curatorial protocols, involving the careful recording of the time & resources necessary to perform the various curatorial tasks.
Undergraduate student assistants, interns, and volunteers are an intricate part of our activities.
Below we list the presentations related to the work that we do in the collection. Clicking on a link will initiate the download of a pdf file.
