We accept internship applications from undergraduate students interested in learning about insects, insect collections, and insect photography.  Please be thoughtful and genuine with your statement of interest — the aim of this internship is to help driven students gain experience, so we are looking for applicants who are devoted to learning and who are enthusiastic about this opportunity. This is an unpaid internship that can be completed either as volunteer hours OR as internship credit.

Internship for school credit: students should contact their Academic Advisor prior to applying for internship.

Volunteering – ongoing

Volunteering is a great way to learn about a specific subject, to develop valuable new skills, to meet people with similar interests, and to provide support to an organization. If you are interested in learning about insects, natural history collections, and scientific research in entomology we invite you to join our fantastic group of volunteers! We welcome enthusiastic and dynamic people from all walks of life and all backgrounds. Thank you in advance!
