Ohio State Fair qualifying shows for equine

If you want to try to qualify for the Ohio State Fair Junior Horse Show, you must have a qualifying score in a Performance Against the Standard (PAS) Show. There are upcoming PAS shows in Brown County on June 4, Adams County on June 18, and Scioto County on June 25 and June 26. For a full list of dates and REGISTRATION DEADLINES, please go to https://ohio4h.org/sites/ohio4h/files/imce/PAS%20Show%20%20%28Responses%29%20-%20Form%20Responses%201.pdf

IMPORTANT – Pike County does not host a PAS show. PLEASE NOTE, for a Pike County 4-H member to show in another county PAS show, the member must have an out-of-county approval form signed by Joy Bauman the Pike County 4-H Educator and have a copy of your horse ID paperwork that we have on file at the Extension office. If you are planning to compete in a PAS Show, contact Joy by email at bauman.67@osu.edu ASAP so she can get your paperwork together and signed so you have it in time for the registration deadline for your chosen show(s). Joy will be out of the office quite a bit in the coming weeks for camps and activities, so please contact her by June 1 for your out-of-county approval paperwork.
