Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards are awarded in 27 project area categories in which to apply, such as individual animal projects, citizenship, community service, clothing, creative arts, woodworking, food and nutrition, photography, leadership, and more! 4-H members can submit multiple achievement records in different categories based on their 4-H involvement. State winners in each category win a trip to national events such as National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia. These events encourage members to expand their skills, engage with
other 4-H members, and inspire them to make an impact in their communities! To be eligible to apply for a state 4-H Achievement Award, the member must have at least reached their 14th birthday and not have reached their 19th birthday before January 1, 2024.
Any members who would like guidance with completing an Ohio 4-H Achievement Award Application or their 4-H scholarship application are invited to Open Office Hours at the Pike County Extension Office on Monday, January 15. Come anytime between 1-6 p.m. Bring your own laptop or other device. Joy will be available to answer questions and offer guidance.
