Any 4-H teens in grades 7 and up are welcome to join Teen Ambassadors! 4-H Teen Ambassadors focus on leadership, citizenship, and community service! Join us on Thursday, October 24 at 6 p.m. at the Pike County Extension Office. Refreshments will be served!
We will recognize Ambassador accomplishments for 2024, and kick off a new program called “My Hometown is Cool!” where we will engage in hands-on community development and entrepreneurial thinking exercises. The program includes lessons that guide youth through the process of reflecting on the positive attributes of their community, brainstorming ideas that build upon strengths, and developing and sharing an elevator pitch in a contest with 4-H youth from Scioto, Jackson, and Lawrence Counties. Contact 4-H Educator Joy Bauman with your questions. Email bauman.67@osu.edu.
