The goal of anyone in the medical field is to help as many people as possible. So that’s exactly my goal. As long as I am volunteering and helping people I know I’m keeping myself on the right track. My junior year hopefully Clinical volunteering and research is the way I can do my share and help out.

The American Red Cross Internship was a huge part of my sophomore year at The Ohio State University. I spent 10-15 hours a week planning and running blood drives to make sure the Wexner had enough blood to continue their life saving surgeries. It involved a lot of recruiting at different dorm halls for hours on end and shamelessly asking people for blood. I met a lot of new people and I knew the work I was doing was saving lives.
