I was always told that if you like what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life and that’s how I feel about PE. My future career plans are to teach PE in the inner city and to coach either basketball or baseball at the highest level possible.”

“I chose physical education because I have known that I wanted to do something related to sports and physical activity since high school, and there are multiple teachers in my family who suggested studying physical education. My favorite part about the major is how interactive it is. I like that every class is not a lecture and that we get to actually go out and practice teaching and applying what we learned in class. After graduation, I want to get a job as a physical education teacher either around Columbus or back home in Connecticut while also coaching high school sports.”
