About Me

My name is Kiran Phuloria, a Columbus, Ohio native for many years. Living in the suburb of Dublin but being born in Mumbai, India, I have been shaped by many diverse environments, as well as the influence of my family and friends. My main passions include community service, universal respect, and learning. Being exposed to Ohio State University from a young age, I knew my upbringing and personality would be a perfect match in OSU’s academic and social culture. The diverse campus allows me to connect with the world, respect other backgrounds and ideas, and work toward a brighter future through community service. Additionally, I enjoy many hobbies such as chorale singing and club tennis, some of the many involvment options at OSU.

Ohio State provides its students many opportunities; I hope to take my efforts and potential into the healthcare field, as service for mankind is one of my main interests along with the science subjects. Additionally, I am an part of the Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Scholars program, or ICE scholars. This program focuses on creating ideas beneficial to a niche market, learning business/entrepreneurial studies, and possibly crafting a personal business plan. I choose this program because I am constantly looking for ways to grow myself as an individual, whether that be as a student, daughter, friend, professional, or entrepreneur. Throughout life, I hope to grow myself with new challenges and have valuable lessons on how the professional world works.

As I continue in my four years at Ohio State, I hope to meet many influential peers and professionals and have an impact on them as well!
