About Me

  • My intended major is interior design, but I plan doing a dual degree with business, since double-majoring in both ID and business would have been chaos, as said per my adviser.
  • A unique thing about is that I can draw, play a little on my ukulele, bilingual in Khmer and English, and a knack for having all the memes ready on my phone (oh and eating mass amounts of food).
  • My first impression of Ohio State dates way back to middle school actually, at the time I thought that OSU was a normal university and that there was nothing great about it. I was looking for out-of-state universities and colleges because my dream at the time was to live in the Boston or DC area. Till I progressed through HS, OSU warmed up to me, and after doing research at the many things OSU had, I officially made up my mind to go to OSU. As for the scholars, I saw this as a good opportunity for my college career, meeting new people, gaining more and new knowledge, and understanding more about architecture/scholars in general.
  • I thought welcome week as pretty okay and nice, because at first I was really battling my anxiety and tried to calm my nerves. Everything was so new to me and big, I saw how people were confident already while I was still so very afraid and worrisome. But as I got into the swing of things–meeting new people, understanding my classes, and learning more about others–I started to just naturally adapt and my nerves began to settle. My classes were as I expected, I kinda knew what I was getting myself into; the mass amount of HW and studying. I expected myself prior to the 1st week of college to get lost, not know what to do or what I’m doing, just overall a mess. But when the time actually came I actually was able to wake up early despite my thoughts keeping me awake, I found my classes, and doing well on class assignments so far. This really shows what overthinking can do to you lol.
