In this project I thought of a memory of my childhood of sitting in my living room during a storm. I remember this because in San Diego, where I am from, we rarely got intense weather and it is one of the only times I ever saw lightning in San Diego. My parents lit a fire in our fireplace and we watched a movie and saw the storm out the windows.
I started by making a word list describing the memory:
- Dark
- Wet
- Lightning
- Fire
- Windy
- Stormy
- Calm
- Action
- Family
- Weather
Then I made a depiction of the memory as a collage.
