I am Phillip Biondo.
Hi, my name is Phillip Biondo and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a runner, enjoy attending concerts, and love freelance filming. As a Foundations Design student, I have discovered a passion for creating and working in collaborative environments that challenge me to expand my perspectives. Although I initially started my studies in Computer Engineering at Ohio State, I quickly realized my interest in design. This led me to switch to Design Fundamentals in my second year.
I enjoy discovering the limits design will allow me to push and look forward to continuing to develop these skills. I have found real enjoyment in creating within digital spaces. I love finding new ways to explore and learn, whether this be learning a coding language, a new material technique, or spending time learning Adobe software.
I have always seen creation as such an amazing process. It is inspiring to see an idea once in my head, combine with others, and finally become tangible for myself and those around me. Everyone’s unique perspective influences bits and pieces of the larger picture in the final product. Bringing together the ideas and passions of many individuals has been such a rewarding experience this year.
What Does Design Allow Me to Achieve?
For me, design is a powerful tool that allows me to explore and express my creativity while also addressing real-world problems. It enables me to blend my diverse interests and passions into unique and innovative solutions. Through design, I can use my skills to enhance the user experience and create functional and powerful products. Whether it’s a website, a piece of furniture, or a marketing brand mission, I am constantly striving to create something that is not only visually appealing but also practical and useful. Overall, design provides me with a platform to make a meaningful impact in the world, and I am excited to continue exploring its endless possibilities.
