guo.1269@osu.edu

Yizhen (Janet) Guo is a PharmD candidate at Ohio State from Shanghai, China.

Janet is currently working on the development of web-based applications for pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics simulation and estimation, as well as retrospective reviews of patients treated with immunotherapy for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer at the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Janet joined the Phelps lab because of the opportunities to gain valuable hands-on experience in PKPD modeling and simulation, its broad research interests across various classes of anti-cancer agents, and the close collaboration with oncologists and hematologists in the nearby cancer hospital.

After two years of stay, Janet adds that the lab is not only a great place to gain knowledge and research skills, but also filled with a group of incredibly kind and supportive people. She could not imagine a better place to pursue further training in PKPD research. Janet’s favorite memory with the lab was their team building exercise at an escape room in Columbus.

Kyeongmin Kim, PharmD., MPharm.

Kim Headshot

Graduate Trainee
kim.7648@osu.edu

Kyeongmin Kim is a first year in the PhD. program at Ohio State from Seoul, Korea. After she earned her Pharm.D. and M.S. degree in Pharmacy, Kyeongmin worked in Dong-A ST, a Korean Pharmaceutical company, for 3.5 years. There, she participated in several investigational drug projects to evaluate pharmacokinetic (PK). Kyeongmin joined OSU in 2020 to pursue graduate study and improve her PK/PD expertise.

Currently, Kyongmin is working on ICI/Cachexia and IMiDs.

Kyeongmin is driven by the opportunity to learn something new and her wish to pursue personalized pharmacotherapy. She joined the Phelps lab because of her interest in PK/PD modeling and anticancer drugs. She also loved her rotation experience with the Phelps lab.

Min Chen

Chen Headshot

Graduate Trainee
chen.7274@osu.edu

Min Chen is a 4th year Graduate Student from Shanghai, China. She chose the Phelps lab because the ongoing projects align with her interests in both PK and PD research areas, as well as give her a chance to learn and practice clinical data modeling and simulation.

Min is driven by her desire to receive systemic training in high level research and gain more experience in both pharmacokinetics and pharmacology area. She also values the opportunity to practice research ideas and better prepare herself for her future career.

Min is currently working on the IMiDs and OSU-2S projects, as well as pop PK modeling projects. Her favorite memories with the lab are discussing projects, courses, and other things in the office when everyone was able to work in person.

Zhiliang (Leon) Xie

Zhiliang (Leon) Xie is a Research Scientist with the Phelps Lab. He chose to work with the Phelps lab because of their highly focused research team and the opportunity to work with lab mates from many cultural backgrounds. Leon is currently working on LC-MS/MS and Elisa method development.

Hanna Radomska, PhD.

Hanna Radomska

Hanna Radomska, PhD.
Research Scientist
Radomska.1@osu.edu

Dr. Hanna Radomska is a Research Scientist within the Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University. She has an extensive experience in the field of hematology/oncology with the vast understanding of the role of transcription factors and signaling pathways in oncological diseases. She has years of experience in molecular biology, including CRISPR technology.

Currently, she is involved in multiple projects focused on cancer cachexia, estrogen receptor (ER) signaling, and the role of androgen receptor (AR) in HCC, with the aim of development of novel and effective therapeutic interventions. Her role on the proposed project involves genetic modification of model HCC cell lines using CRISPR methodology. She is creating AR-null and AR-overexpressing HCC cell lines, which will be used for in vivo studies to evaluate the roles of AR full length (AR-FL) and splice variants (AR-SV) in HCC tumorigenicity and testing responsiveness of those HCC tumors to AR-targeted therapies.

Her education includes:
Gdańsk University, Gdańsk, Poland; M.Sc.; 10/1980 Biology
Columbia University, New York, N.Y.; M.Phil.; 05/1992 Molecular Biology
Columbia University, New York, N.Y.; Ph.D.; 10/1994 Molecular Biology

Her fellowships and awards include:
2002-2004: K01 DK, NIH, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), Research Scientist Development Award – Research & Training
2000-2001: Harvard Medical School, Scholar in Medicine Award
1997-1999: F32 DK, NIH, National Research Service Award
