Yizhen (Janet) Guo is a PharmD candidate at Ohio State from Shanghai, China.
Janet is currently working on the development of web-based applications for pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics simulation and estimation, as well as retrospective reviews of patients treated with immunotherapy for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
Janet joined the Phelps lab because of the opportunities to gain valuable hands-on experience in PKPD modeling and simulation, its broad research interests across various classes of anti-cancer agents, and the close collaboration with oncologists and hematologists in the nearby cancer hospital.
After two years of stay, Janet adds that the lab is not only a great place to gain knowledge and research skills, but also filled with a group of incredibly kind and supportive people. She could not imagine a better place to pursue further training in PKPD research. Janet’s favorite memory with the lab was their team building exercise at an escape room in Columbus.
