Graduates of the PhD in Nursing program are prepared to:
- Synthesize knowledge from nursing and other disciplines to develop and empirically test research questions about individual and population health, health policy, and health care systems.
- Conduct research that builds nursing science.
- Clearly communicate research results to diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Lead the advancement of translational science as principal investigators.
