A friend of mine at UCLA was looking to take photographs of white men and asked me to give a masculine feeling to the shoot.

This was a total joke of an art piece, and I knew nothing about electricity when I made it, flames did come out of an outlet when I plugged in a test plug that had positive and negative wires crossed.
This work was easy to ignore but many viewers felt a quick sense of danger when noticed.

Sculpture I made in an undergraduate sculpture class in 2014. I was surprised by how more relevant this work become.
I imagined the paper rolls as both steps and a pyramid.
