About Me

My name is Isaac Perry and I am a first year mechanical engineering student at The Ohio State University. I am a member of the Humanitarian Engineering Scholars program because I really want to be able to help people in need with my work. Physical labor is my favorite way of helping others, but as I get older I see the greater significance of using my brain’s knowledge to plan out solutions to problems and communicating those plans to individuals who can easily implement them. In high school I coached 6 recreational basketball teams in 4 seasons, was a referee for the community’s recreational soccer league, helped out with our school’s alumni day, worked a 5:30 AM shift at a golf course 5 days a week, volunteered as a leader at track and field camp as well as hosted the event one year, and was a four year varsity track athlete.
