Artifact #2: Snake Game

Recently, I’ve been looking for ways to improve my coding skills outside of my usual classes. I decided that I would begin to learn how to make visual programs that would display something on screen. In my search, I found a Youtube tutorial series designed to teach Java by the channel “Bro Code”. Their collection of videos covers the basics of Java and leads into displaying programs on screen. One of the final projects in the series is a tutorial on making a “Snake-like” game. The project covers using visual libraries such as Swing and AWT. Overall, I’ve learned a lot while going through the series. I hope to use the new skills I’ve learned to better my old programs and to write more interactive code.
