Quantitative psychology is not a well-known discipline within psychology, but is essential to psychological science. Training in quantitative psychology provides many career opportunities. The APA site Quantitative Psychology provides an excellent overview of the field, graduate programs, and how to prepare for a career in quantitative psychology.
The Ohio State University Department of Psychology houses one of the oldest and most prominent training in quantitative psychology in North America. Prospective students are encourage to browse the quantitative program website.
I have several ongoing projects focused on:
(a) Methodological practices in relation to replication
(b) Uncertainty quantification with respect to sampling variability, measurement error, and model approximation.
(c) Measurement error and reliability
I plan to admit graduate students for Fall 2025.
