The AEV Research Findings

In order to do our jobs successfully and create a safe transportation vehicle for citizens, there are many factors that we have to consider. One of the most important factors is stability. There will be many people coming on and off of this transportation we are providing and it is imperative that our system is as stable as possible and can account for the maximum occupancy weight, as well as the weight being distributed unevenly. This concern can be eliminated by figuring out how to orient the center of lift compared to the center of gravity (or the center of mass).  Therefore, the center of lift must be behind the center of gravity (or the center of mass) because this will allow the lifting torque to not be in the same direction as the wind so it will counteract the force applied on it. This, in turn, will allow the system to resist the forces acting on it and remain stable.
