Advanced Research and Development

The advanced research and development tests were done in order to see how the AEV functions in different conditions. Since our team prioritized efficiency, low maintenance, safety, and stability for our AEV, we decided it would be beneficial to research the effects that track variance and motor quantity have on the AEV’s function. There are four different tracks that our AEV could go on, and knowing the difference between each of them will benefit us in how we decide to code our final vehicle to be able to safely and successfully go on each track at any point in time. Testing how the amount of motors on the AEV effects the distance it travels will allow us to determine the most efficient motor quantity for our final design.

Motor Quantity

Track Comparison

Having all of this information in mind will allow us to make our AEV more marketable because it will be about to account for variance in tracks as well as be the most efficient in terms of the quantity of motors it possesses.
