We are thrilled to bring the Experiencing Veterans and Artists Collaboration (EVAC) project to the Pearl Conard Art Gallery from Monday, November 6 to Wednesday, December 6, 2023. The EVAC project uses storytelling and art to bridge the divide between civilians and veterans, shedding light on the realities of military life. The exhibition will showcase artwork inspired by interviews with veterans from all five military branches, covering eras from WWII to Iraq and Afghanistan. These pieces, created by artists from across the United States, will be accompanied by excerpts from the original interviews. Join us for the exhibition’s opening reception at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 10. The reception will be followed by the 7:30 pm premiere of “A Horse Named Reckless” by the OSU Mansfield Theater.
