Join Paulding County Extension for January 7th Cover Crops Roundtable Meeting

Join OSU Extension Paulding County and escape the cold with some hot topics at our January 7th Cover Crops Roundtable meeting! Cover Crops Roundtable is a monthly, year-round series focusing on topics related to cover crops and conservation. Hosted in three locations during the winter months, the Paulding County roundtables are held on Tuesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00 PM. Wood County and Auglaize County also host roundtable meetings during the winter months, from 6:30-8:00PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, respectively. This series is open to all producers in the region at any location and focuses on timely issues in an informal way with no sales presentations! Light refreshments are provided free of charge, and each meeting begins with a short educational presentation, followed by discussion.

The January edition of the Cover Crops Roundtable series will feature guest speakers Missy Hayes and Grace Hayes, Chief Operating Officer and Marketing Coordinator of StudioThink, respectively. Our speakers will discuss a survey they have created through a grant from Ohio EPA to gauge attitudes of farmers on different farm management practices, crop performance, fertilizer and soil amendment options, and concerns from local producers.
