We will be holding a show in Paulding County this year. The date of the show is Sunday, June 12th starting at 2:00 pm.
This show is a required show for any youth completing a horse project that wishes to qualify for the Ohio State Fair. We will be following all the rules set in the Uniform Rules for 4-H Horse Shows with a copyright date of 2021. Copies of this rule book are available in the Paulding County OSU Extension Office if you do not currently have one.
Members wishing to compete in this show must be in good standing in 4-H or FFA in Paulding County. Thanks to a generous donor, this show will not have an entry fee. Members wishing to participate in this show must complete the registration form linked below no later than May 25, 2022 by 11:59 pm. Registration will close after this date and time and will not be reopened.
Youth must register for at least 2 classes in this show and may register for a maximum of 4 classes. Youth must qualify in at least 2 classes to become eligible for the Ohio State Fair Horse Show. Youth may try to qualify in front of 2 judges. Our show is a 1 judge show, which means youth may register for a 2nd show that only has one judge. I have linked a registration form for other area shows below. If you show in our show, you may only show in 1 other show that has only 1 judge. Failure to follow this rule will disqualify you from being eligible for the Ohio State Fair Horse Show.
