The Paulding County Junior Fairboard has announced that they are extending the deadline for the 2022 Paulding County Junior Fair King/Queen applications. Applications are now due May 18, 2022 by 11:59 pm. Youth interested in competing for this award must be in high school, be a member in good standing in a youth organization in Paulding County, and complete 10 hours of Community Service before May 24th. Interviews will be held on May 25th in the Youth Leadership Building. Applicants will be contacted with the time of their interview after the application deadline.
Applications will be completed online. Applicants will need to have the following information prepared before visiting the online application as some of the questions require lengthy responses. Please be prepared to answer the following:
- Contact Information including parent(s) names, school, grade, and age as of January 1, 2022
- Youth Organization you are representing
- Club/Chapter/Troop you are representing
- Years active in the organization you are representing
- All activities you have participated in as a member of the club you are representing (community service projects, county fair, officer training, speaking contests, offices held, awards, etc.)
- A short summary of what your plans are for the future and how your participation in youth organizations has influenced your future goals.
- What it would mean to you to be chosen as the Paulding County Junior Fair King or Queen and what you would do to promote the Paulding County Junior Fair.
- Explain in 500 words or less the following question, “What do you feel are the roles and responsibilities that come with the title of Paulding County Junior Fair King or Queen?”
- A photo will need to be uploaded to be used for media and publicity of the competition.
