2021 Advisor Grade Sheets and Record Book Update

All livestock members must have their record books completed to date and ready for review when asked by their advisors.  Your advisors will be asking for them this month as grades are due by May 25th.  The record books this year include more than just feed records and livestock costs.  Therefore, work should be done in the books regardless of how long you have had your animal or if you even have it yet.

2021 Paulding County 4-H Still Project Judging Schedule

Pullorum Testing for All Exhibition Chickens

The Ohio Department of Agriculture announced earlier this year that they will be requiring all exhibition poultry to have a Pullorum test complete before they can be exhibited.  Paulding County will be holding pullorum testing at the Paulding County Fairgrounds the last part of May.  The date has not been determined as Michael has to get his certification to test due to not having anyone in the county certified to test for pullorum.  Once a date has been set, the date will be announced.

Paulding County Will Have 4-H Camp This Summer at 4-H Camp Palmer

We are way more than excited to announce that we have been approved to have a multi-day/night camping experience in 2021 at 4-H Camp Palmer.  Our hearts were hurting in 2020 with the thought of not being at camp and cannot wait to be on the grounds of beautiful 4-H Camp Palmer this summer.

While there is still a lot of planning that needs to happen to ensure we are meeting safe camping requirements in this time of COVID-19, we can safely say that we will be starting our stay at 4-H Camp on July 9th.

More information about camp, including an online registration will be released once we have more definitive plans, but mark your calendars now to attend 4-H Camp at 4-H Camp Palmer beginning on July 9th.
